This one was recorded in the small kitchen area of Mandie Birchem’s apartment in Denver, Colorado. I ended up playing a few songs at a underground hip-hop show a day before I left.

Written and Recorded by: Jason Faust

I need to get back on this.

The Percussion on it is a little tedious. I just recorded myself trying to sound like an eggshaker with my mouth.

This is out of the same recording session that Waking Up was on.

Dan Rowland recorded and mixed this in his basement studio.

    Dan Rowland: Drums.

    Jason Faust: Keys and Vocals.

    Written by Faustio.

This is just a simple under two minute song that I thought was a perfect length. Never released, just given to a few friends. For some reason I had Matt Weigand in mind when I wrote this song.

Whew almost didn’t make it on the second day. I have to remind myself not to take a nap when I come home from work.

Ok, second song in my 30 days/30 songs saga.

This one is called waking up.

Recorded in Dan Rowland’s basement from a series of songs that I did with him. This song was written by myself on my parents piano before it was sold in the divorce (RIP Piano).

Dan Rowland recorded and mixed the work

Dan Rowland - Drums and Whistling

Jason Faust - Vocals and Keys

So I am going to post as many things that I have done in the past musically, and then I can post some newer things I have been working on.

This song was written by myself and recorded by Zac Naughton and the Bump Factory.

    Zac Naughton: Drums and Bass.

Jason Faust: Guitar, Vox, and Keys.

I will try to remember to post the demo tomorrow that led up to the creation of this song. I didn’t have lyrics to most of the song at the time we started recording, but had the phrase “Have Gun, Take Aim” stuck in my head to use. All and all it was a quick and fun recording.

  • Yet another thing to waste my time with.

I was wondering what I was going to do with this new space I have.

I think I am just going to post musical projects I have worked on/in/doing now.

    Bleh.
